Lauren Conrad: "I'm Not A Sexy Person"

Plenty of men might beg to differ with what Lauren Conrad tells May's Allure Magazine.

"I'm not a sexy person," The Hills star, 25, said. "I'm OK with it. I've never been the sexy girl. Whenever I've had a boyfriend, he's always been like, 'Oh, you're cute.'"

But LC admits there have been plenty of times she doesn't even feel cute, especially when it comes to stories about her fluctuating weight.

"You're the first person to notice any weight gain or loss, and then to have it pointed out can be embarrassing," she says. "You have two good angles and a hundred bad ones. I've seen photos of myself and cringed, 'Oh, God, I can never wear those pants again!'"

In fact, the reality star and writer, who's been dating actor Kyle Howard for nearly two years, has devised a plan for those incidents. Conrad now wears skinny jeans with high heels to elongate her legs and she always carries a giant handbag.

"If I'm shopping and I see paparazzi, my bag goes directly to my thighs," she says.

But while Conrad might have some self-esteem issues, she says she'd never consider going under the knife like pal Heidi Montag, who had more than 10 procedures including breast augmentation, liposuction, and a nose job.

"I saw the magazine just like everybody else," she says. "I don't think this is a happy story at all, there's just no right answer there."

Ashley Tisdale Poses Nude For Allure Magazine

Ashley Tisdale is shedding her clothes and her good girl image in the May issue of Allure.

When the time came for the 25-year-old High School Musical star to disrobe for the mag's annual Nudes Issue, Tisdale brought an unlikely guest to the shoot: her mom, Lisa!

"I've always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do," she explains. "Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The 'believe' tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe."

Her mom's advice paid off, as Tisdale successfully transitioned from Disney darling to a successful recording artist and star of The CW's Hellcats.

"I'm 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young," Tisdale sighs. "Being in this shoot was me saying, 'I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman.'"

Leighton Meester Hopes to Find Love 'Someday'

Leighton Meester may not have the relationship her Gossip Girl alter ego enjoys with her onscreen love, Chuck, but she's okay with that.

"It's wonderful to be in love," the actress, 24, tells the January issue of Allure. "And it's definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it's okay if you don't find him and you're 24. You can find it someday."

Meester says she understands the kind of love her character, Blair Waldorf, shares with Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick) on the show.

"I can really relate to it – not necessarily because it's this dramatic, tumultuous relationship, but because the way they love each other is very real, and not for the sake of being dramatic," she says. "It's actual love. There's nobody for each other but them."

The actress also confesses to being a reformed partier, describing a sort of adult Disneyland she and her friends created.

"We had craaaazy parties, we had DJ's, bands, an ice luge, a fire twirler," she says. "One of my roommates burned off her bangs on the stove trying to light a cigarette. I mean, drinking is one thing – overdrinking is another. And drugs are something that I do not tolerate at all. You'd be surprised how many people do it. If you go out and you're living the nightlife scene, that's what people do."

The actress also puts an unfounded rumor to rest: She and costar Blake Lively are not on the outs, she says.

"It's unfortunate when women are pitted against each other, like with Sex and the City," Meester says. "People say, 'They're jealous of each other.' Come on! They're all rich, successful, great actresses."
