Spencer Pratt's Next Big Career Move

http://itsrainingdiamonds.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/heidi-montag-and-spencer-pratt.jpgSpencer Pratt's next big career move, becoming the new KFC spokesperson, has been placed on the back fryer, while the fast food giant and the reality TV star iron out some legal disputes.

Radar Online can exclusively report that it was all systems go for Spencer as KFC moved forward with their plans to use his music track "Ain't No Thang But A Chicken Wing," as part of an upcoming ad campaign, but now a major spanner has been thrown in the works.

"Spencer had worked on the track with music producer Daniel Cortez and when Daniel heard about the talks between KFC and Spencer he lawyered up and contacted them immediately," a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.

"He is disputing Spencer's ownership of the song and right to license it and until that issue is resolved KFC won't proceed any further.

"Spencer is not happy with the situation and is concerned that it's going to blow his whole deal.

"Spencer was under the impression that everything had been ironed out with Daniel, but now he's being told everything is on hold until Daniel receives a satisfactory contract proving his share of ownership regarding the track.

"He's concerned that this is going to totally jeopardize things and that KFC will pull out of the deal."

However, Radar Online has learned that there is some good news on the horizon for the aspiring rapper and his many fans.

"Spencer is going into the studio with Hip Hop platinum selling artist Waka Floka Flame and Wooh Da Kid this month in Atlanta," a source says. "They're making a compilation CD with guests from all walks of rock 'n' roll, old school and R&B!"

KFC to Spencer Pratt: Let's Make Music Together

http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/1135.jpg

Spencer Pratt's chicken wing rap has a leg to stand on after all -- because KFC just put a sweet offer on his table ... involving his song, a music video, and Colonel Sanders!!!!

TMZ has obtained a letter KFC President Roger Eaton sent to Pratt this week offering him a sweet partnership with the company.

In the letter, Eaton says, "We heard the song came out before it was fully cooked, and that you were just winging it as a first cut. So on behalf of the entire Kentucky Fried Chicken family, we want to make you an offer so good you can't resist." Chicken puns ... free of charge.

Eaton continues, "We're willing to help you tune up the track and even turn it into a tasty music video, featuring the Colonel himself. That is, if you're not chicken."

Spencer afraid of a little attention? His response to the letter was, for once, simple -- "My dreams have come true!"

Spencer Pratt -- Animal Rights Crusader?

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPaZ84cOcyEVA1JCifbB9K5sWzzibxYMmOXOLqib9nTAj-GWCzgOFrtIZHacUML-0JfnNLm-zIlISLSNfKJ_q0kQGpwEukdd1TLwFLY39y3O3lYW9dzMbeQoIx-9vKaMkDGGj2jWPncMy1/s400/Spencer+Pratt.jpgAspiring rapper Spencer Pratt was planning to pitch a song he wrote and performed about chicken wings to fast food chain KFC.

But, the former reality TV star shelved the idea after listening to the finished product -- unfortunately however, not before the song was 'leaked' all over the internet.

Always quick to spot a red hot promotional opportunity, animal rights group PETA heard about Pratt's aborted attempt to become a rapping KFC spokesperson and challenged the 27-year-old to cross over to the other side, by recording an anti-KFC rap instead.

In an email exclusively obtained by Radar Online, PETA Senior Vice President Dan Matthews writes: "Dear Spencer, Instead of rapping about KFC's wings, why not speak up for the chickens who are scalded to death for the colonel?

"As you can see in this video hosted by Pamela Anderson, chickens who are killed for KFC live their entire lives mired in their own waste and filth, only to be shackled upside down by their fragile legs and have their throats cut while they are still conscious.

After watching the video, please consider recording a PETA campaign tune for our Kentucky Fried Cruelty campaign. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely, Dan Mathews, Senior Vice President."

Meantime, it's somewhat of a turnaround for the animal rights activist group. They once lambasted avowed hunter Spencer and his wife Heidi Montag for choosing to buy a pure breed dog rather than adopt from a shelter.
