We're used to seeing Ashley Tisdale in skin-tight spandex each week on her rah-rah-fest of a series, "Hellcats," but in the latest issue of Allure, the starlet takes flesh-baring to an all new level for the magazine's annual Nudes shoot.
Along with singer Keri Hilson and actresses Kaley Cuoco and Bridget Moynahan, the 25-year-old posed in her altogether for the provocative shoot, and you might be surprised to hear who she brought along for moral support: her mother!
"I've always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do," she said. "Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The 'believe' tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe."

And like many House of Mouse alums, Ashley is ready to shed her kid-star persona and, rather predictably, decided posing nude would be a good way to do it.
"Being in this shoot was me saying, 'I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman,'" she told the magazine.
Call us crazy, but there are plenty of other ways to prove your maturity besides taking your clothes off. Like signing on for a gritty film role, perhaps. But we do have to give the girl props for apparently having the body confidence necessary to strike such a daring pose.

In every instance, Paper Airplanes rises to the impossibly high bar set by its predecessors to form what may well be the finest album Krauss has ever released.
The sound Alison Krauss and her longtime bandmates in Union Station create continues to express an intuition and flow that is rarely heard in country music. Dan Timinski’s pristine guitar playing and worn-in vocals are as essential and impressive as ever, while bluegrass legend Jerry Douglas’ dobro playing is stellar throughout. But, not surprisingly, Krauss’ vocals are the centerpiece, and her mezzo soprano has never sounded as pure as it does on this new set of songs. Her range continues to stagger, and nowhere is this more evident than it is on her cover of Richard and Linda Thompson’s “Dimming of the Day.” While she wisely chooses not to descend into the heart of darkness that washed over the original version, Krauss effortlessly holds each note as she pulls off the long phrases and diabolical range required without ever faltering, effortlessly walking the line between sugary sweetness and tragic desperation to bring the song home.
This song alone is reason enough to buy the album, but it would be a mistake to characterize Paper Airplanes as a one-hit wonder. Some will love the traditional vibe of “Lay My Burden Down” while others will gravitate more to the interpretive skills she brings to bear on a stunning version of Jackson Browne’s “My Opening Farewell.” Paper Airplanesfeatures a stellar set of songs that should continue to expand upon Alison Krauss’ already-great reputation.

Jeff Buckleylooks to be the next major musician to get the Hollywood biopic treatment, and while both his life and career were tragically brief, Buckley’s legacy is as strong as ever. A good biopic will serve to expose his music to a wider audience, but we doubt that a weak biopic would be able to tarnish his image.
Thankfully, though, it looks like some real talent has been brought to this project. According toScreenCrave, Jake Scott, director of Welcome to the Rileys and son of acclaimed filmmaker Ridley Scott, has been hired to helm the film.

Although Scott has only made two feature films so far, he does have a lot of experience in the realm of popular music, directing videos for such acts as Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins and Radiohead. Perhaps that work will be beneficial on this project.
In the meantime, we’re wondering about major casting decisions. A while back we reported that Robert Pattinson may be in the running to play Buckley, but that is certainly not set in stone, and honestly, we’re not he has the skill to pull it off. Not yet, at least.
Buckley was a fantastic musician and a true artist. While this film can do little to affect our opinion of him, we do hope that everyone involved treats the material with the proper degree of respect and reverence. He deserves nothing less.

Soccer star David Beckham will be there with his pop-star wife, Victoria. Elton John is attending with partner David Furnish. And the Venerable Bogoda Seelawimala will be there too, probably one of the few guests at the wedding of the year wearing orange and burgundy Buddhist robes.
The guest list for the April 29 union of Prince William and Kate Middleton is still being kept secret, but details have begun to leak out, with some coming forward to say they are attending and the Mail on Sunday newspaper claiming to have the official invitation roster.
The palace dismissed the newspaper's list as speculation Sunday.
It won't be clear until the day how the royal couple have balanced the protocol demands that they invite statesmen, diplomats, religious leaders, politicians and the like with invitations to the people they really want to see, particularly the crowd they made friends with when they met and fell in love at St. Andrews University in Scotland.
Seelawimala, head priest at the London Buddhist Vihara monastery, has never met the couple but has been invited apparently to show the royal family and the British government's respect for Buddhist tradition. It is expected that the list will include Islamic and Hindu leaders as well as those from other faiths.
The Mail on Sunday list describes an eclectic mix — everyone from fabulously wealthy friends of Prince Charles to a favored bartender and a yoga instructor from the Caribbean island of Mustique, long a hideaway for royals and rockers alike.
William and Middleton have shown their modern side by inviting a number of close friends, including some former sweethearts, the newspaper said.
The couple also have invited many guests from the charities they work with, and Middleton has used her influence to invite the butcher, shopkeeper and pub owner from her home village of Bucklebury.
Guest lists have a way of expanding. Prime Minister David Cameron has been invited, of course — so it would have been bad form not to invite Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg. The leader of the opposition, Ed Miliband, can't be left out or the royals could be accused of showing favoritism.
The Mail on Sunday said Queen Elizabeth II has invited 50 guests, Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, chose an additional 250, the same number as William and Middleton invited, while Middleton's family made 100 more invitations. Europe's royal families, long close to the Windsors, are expected to be well represented.
Sarah Ferguson, former wife of Prince Andrew, has not been invited, but the couple's two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, are on the list.
Some have declined invitations, including Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper — who is in the middle of an election campaign — and, reportedly, the King of Bahrain, whose country has faced serious unrest. Officials have declined to comment on his plans.

Hugh Hefner is apparently happy with Karina Smirnoff's spread for the May issue of Playboy magazine. Having tweeted that the naked pictures will be "unforgettable", the 85-year-old founder and Chief Creative Officer of the adult magazine went on to gush that he is proud of the photos.
The May issue will feature the "Dancing with the Stars" beauty taking it all off and wearing only a few red ribbons in front off the camera. It is said that she incorporates her dancing into the poses. About the photos, Hef himself told People Magazine at his 85th birthday party at Las Vegas' Palms Casino Resort on Saturday, April 9, "It's a beautiful shoot and I'm very proud of it."

Hef has made public that Karina will be posing naked for the mag back on Wednesday, April 6. His tweet at the time read, "The May issue of Playboy is unforgettable with Dancing With The Stars' Karina Smirnoff on the cover & nude inside."

Speaking of her baring it all for the spread, 32-year-old Karina told Playboy, "I'm fearless and love the adrenaline rush." She added, "Sexy is the confident energy a person produces. Sexy is the comfortable feeling of being who you are."

In the meantime, cold water has been poured down on report that ABC may fire Karina from "DWTS" because of her Playboy shoot. An inside source told People Magazine, "They did know ahead of time and they still gave her one of the best pairings."

Jessie J has warned her fans about binge drinking after being left “shocked” by the the crowd at a gig in Dublin.
In a message on Twitter, the Essex-born singer, who does not drink for medical reasons, expressed her surprise at how drunk a number of the crowd were at Trinity College.

After coming off stage, Jessie J called the gig “one of the hardest gigs to date”, adding: “To see so many people so drunk they couldn’t even stand.”

Her tweet sparked several critical comments from her followers, one of whom said she should “be thankful” to be on stage.

In response, Jessie J said: “I was just shocked at how intoxicated they were and I was genuinely worried for them. I'm not used to it that’s all. And its not just in Ireland its everywhere.

“As a non drinker, I just wanna spread the msg that binge drinking is dangerous.”

Here is a small summary on the new season of Gintama. The new season start of with Gintama Episode 202 where Gin, Shinpachi, and Kagura took a summers day off, when shinpachi returns to Yorozuya he found a different Gin who is more rugged with long hair and a cross scar in his cheek, this is a parody of the dragonball character Yamcha. Gin then explains that “if you don’t closely observe a man he will change in two days”. After taking it all in another stranger comes in the Yorozuya home and now it’s a woman, Shinapachi then notice that the woman who just came in was Kagura who is a lot more mature and sexy. Kagura then explains that “If you don’t closely observe a woman she will change in just three days”.
Now in Gintama 203 is the continuation of the Episode, where Shinpachi is frustrated about the things that has change around him from Yoruzuya’s Gin and Kagura, in Otose’s bar, even in his home where his sister marries Gori Isao. At the beginning of Gintama Episode 203 Shinpachi finds Jubei near the sea side who is a lot more feminine than before but before they can have a decent conversation Zura appears now in his girl form Zurako. Well  I wont spoil the rest just enjoy Gintama Episode 203 you all.

War Of The Worlds

It is with more than a little joy that I get to write about War of the Worldstoday, the classic and timeless H. G. Wells novel which he penned in 1898. The story centred on a young man trying to survive an alien invasion in London and his journey through a vastly changed landscape in search of his beloved Carrie, while encountering desperate and strange characters along the way.
The story was made more famous on October 30^th, 1938 when Orson Welles read an adaptation of the story on American radio. His narration was so compelling that thousands of listeners panicked, thinking that invaders really had landed.
In the 1950’s the book was made into a film but the story was sadly changed for the American audience and the big screen version never captured the intimate essence of Well’s original tale.
I’m not even going to mention the 2006 Spielberg film which starred Tom Cruise, other than to say it was an absolute disgrace of a remake and had virtually nothing to do with the original.
For me the ultimate ‘remake’ or ‘retelling’ of War of the Worldscame in the 1970’s in the shape of Jeff Wayne’s musical version; a fantastic sounding odyssey that took the listener through the quiet and peaceful streets of a London evening and the strange events on Horsell Common in Woking, to the nightmarish, burning streets of a defenceless capital city undergoing the slow and painful transformation of an earthly to an alien place.
Richard Burton provided the voice of the protagonist and his distinctive voice and superb acting skills truly brought the story to life. For a seven year old boy, War of the Worlds was utterly captivating and certainly shaped my own creative writing for years to follow; much to the dismay and joy of many an English teacher.
The Martians were terrifying creatures, all brain and tentacles in their beautifully designed tripod vehicles which strode across the land belching out flaming death rays and levelling the entire world to suit their own needs; a world they turned red like the surface of Mars from which they’d travelled in cylinders propelled by green comets.
Here comes the spoiler for those who have never read, seen or listened to the story.
While the Martians seemed indestructible and completely invulnerable against man’s greatest weapons, they failed to consider the simplest things; tiny organisms which began attacking them the moment they set tentacle upon the earth. While humankind’s greatest achievements and technological advancements failed them, the humblest aspects of creation quietly saved the planet, and perhaps there is a valuable lesson in that message.
Humans believe they are top of the food chain and rulers of the planet, but too often our species is found wanting. We have our place in the world and it is arrogant to think that we can be anything more than the sum of our parts. Nature has a way of dealing with unwanted pests and has historically proven to do so.

As the message on the Georgia Guidestones states: “Be not a cancer upon the earth.”
H. G. Wells was an incredible anthropologist and it is clear that there are warnings in his stories. The simplest message we can draw from this is that we should not tamper with the natural order of things. Nature has developed an intricate system in which everything can live in balanced harmony; it is arrogant of man to think he can mess with that as is being done by companies such as Monsanto.

Mirren will take her acting talents to the SNL stage. The British actress has been nominated for four Oscars, and won Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in 2007 for her performance in Queen.

Hulk Hogan, most famous for his own career as a WWE wrestler, has latterly become an active patron of MCW (Micro Championship Wrestling). Hogan, aka Terry Bollea, has endorsed the sport, now known as 'Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling,' and has been showing his support through attending the recent tour of the Championship across the US. The roadshow has already held matches in Tennessee and Minnesota and is set to head on to Santa Ana, California at the end of April.
TruTV have now announced that this will form the basis of their latest reality TV project. The Cookeville Times reported "The President/Ceo of MCW, Johnny G, told us that he had brought the idea of this organization to Hulk Hogan. Hulk loved the idea and took the idea to one of the biggest names in the wrestling world - Eric Bischoff."
The MCW, which features little 'superstars' such as Meatball, 'Blixx' and 'Justice' have previously performed with bands like Kid Rock, Iron Maiden, and Slipknot.

"LIVE! With Regis & Kelly" co-host Kelly Ripa unveiled her wax twin this week.
The Madame Tussauds wax figure, which was unveiled Tuesday in New York City, looked just like Ripa with its straight blonde hair and dimples. The 40-year-old host even matched her wax figure by wearing a red dress. One major difference was that the wax figure wasn't quite as tanned.
Ripa joined Regis Philbin as a co-host of the morning talk show in 2001 after the departure of Kathie Lee Gifford in 2000.
Meantime, a replacement has not been announced for Philbin, who said he's leaving the show later this year. Philbin recently postponed his departure from the end of the summer to November.
Philbin, 79, announced in January that he would leave the morning talk seriesafter some 25 years. Disney-ABC Television Group had said at the time that it would in February name a new co-host to replace him on the program, which has seen three different co-hosts.
Philbin took time off from "LIVE! with Regis & Kelly" last year to have a blood clot removed from his leg. He also had hip replacement surgery in December 2010 and triple heart bypass surgery in 2007.
Philbin began his television career in Los Angeles, working for KABC Television, OnTheRedCarpet.com's parent company. He moved to New York in 1983 and co-hosted "The Morning Show" with Cyndy Garvey on local station WABC Television. Garvey was replaced by Kathie Lee Gifford in 1985 and the show became nationally syndicated in 1988.
Ripa is known for her acting roles in the ABC soap opera "All My Children" and the series "Hope & Faith."

Anees Bazmee is back with another comedy on the theme of adultery, perhaps with commercial considerations of reviving the success of No Entry . Sadly his Shaadi No.1- meets- Biwi No.1 narrative is adulterated with so many tacky references that you end up saying thank you but no thank you.
So you have Kishan (Akshay Kumar) who acts more likeNarad Muni inciting Raj (Bobby Deol) and Vikram (Irrfan Khan) against good friend Yogi (Suniel Shetty). And then he provokes their unsuspecting wives against the perpetually philandering husbands, exposing their skirt-chasing escapades.

By interval point, Raj's wife Sanjana (Sonam Kapoor) claims to be disillusioned and wants to end life. The viewer is as much disappointed and wants to walk out. But Kishan assures to set things right and, like Sanjana, you too give the film a second chance only to curse your decision later.

So self-proclaimed private detective Kishan helps the females get even with the males and how you wish he would have helped you solve the mystery of what's the actual tale. He poses as the other man to inject jealousy pangs in Raj until he asks for divorce. For the zillionth time the hero rushes to the shaadi-ka-mandap in the climax to win the heroine and lose the audience.

And just when you expect the trauma to terminate, the film extends into an epilogue going in the flashback mode introducing a bonus actress who adds absolutely nothing to the narrative other than more mediocrity. Further social sermons are served on greatness of the female form and thanklessness of the male. Yet the women are expected to forgive the womanizers.

In times when comedy is being redefined with rational and refreshing wit, the likes of Anees Bazmee have demoted themselves to the old school of humour. The writing is replete with one-dimensional characters, multiple item-number inclusions, dialogues designed with obligatory punches, loud antics and side-comedy tracks (Rakhi Vijan repeating her Golmaal Returns husband-beating act). The problem is not merely slapstick but the screenplay is contrived to the extent that every scene tries to cover up the preceding one resulting into a complete mess.

Akshay Kumar reprises Sanjay Dutt's role from the unimpressive Shaadi No.1 in the first half and goes on to replicate Anil Kapoor's part from Biwi No.1 in the second. It's never clear whether Bazmee wants to show if Kishan is charmed by Sanjana or not. So the one-upmanship between Raj and Kishan is palpably missing and even the surprise element in climax, like in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi , doesn't register.

Since none from the extended cast is authoritative enough, Akshay Kumar wins a sleepwalking screen presence. He is ruthlessly repetitive and remains in his comfort zone. Knowing that Sonam Kapoor andBobby Deol can't act for nuts, Bazmee tries to balance it off by giving Irrfan Khan and Rimmi Sen more mileage. And though the two try their best to salvage the situation with their decent comic timings, the load is too much for them to handle. Suniel Shetty is cast in a role that could have been played by Vrajesh Hirjee and perhaps even to better outcome. Thankfully you don't get to see Celina Jaitly beyond a couple of scenes.

Tolerable only if compared to ' No Problem ' but nowhere close to ' No Entry ', ' Thank You ' is definitely not 'Welcome '.

New rumors are circulating that Meredith Vieira may be planning to walk away from NBC's "Today Show." According to various sources, Vieira may depart the show when her contract with the network expires in September. She stepped in to take over for Katie Couric, who exited the show in 2006.
A source at the network recently told the New York Post that Vieira has always put her family first throughout her career and she may jump at the chance to exit the high-stress job.
"It's all a matter of what's best for her family. It's never been about anything but what works best for her family," the source explained. "I would guess with all the stress she's under, in all likelihood, she's not going to continue."
Vieira's husband has battled both cancer and multiple sclerosis since she accepted the job on "Today." A source also told TV Guide, however, that NBC is unlikely to let the anchor walk away easily.
"NBC is doing everything they can to convince her to stay. The 'Today' show anchors are currently under contract and firmly in place," the source revealed.

Britney Spears dances away the apocalypse in her sweaty new video for "Till the World Ends." She and her pals hang out in the sewers, flirting and grind as meteors falling from the sky. This doesn't seem to bother Brit and her friends. They've made a pledge: They will dance until the world ends.
This is hardly the first time a pop star has fended off impending doom in a music video. In fact, as of late, it seems that apocalyptic videos are all the rage.
Alien Katy Perry landed a world that had seen better days in her just released "E.T." video, where she discovers her lover, surrounded by the remnants of a once-great society.
Lady Gaga hinted at the end of one world as she built a new, more understanding species in her"Born This Way" video. And in a similarly positive way, Willow Smith brought a dead and buried civilization back to life in her "21st Century Girl" video.

Like Brit, Ke$ha also threw an end-of-days party in her clip for "We R Who We R." And just to one-up his pop counterparts, Adam Lambert has gone apolocalypse-y twice: once in his "Time for Miracles" video (for the "2012" soundtrack) and again in his steam-punk inspired rave for "If I Had You" that appears to end in a nuclear explosion.
Rock acts have also been natural fits for this kind of doom and gloom. My Chemical Romance are warriors escaping apocalyptic troubles in the recent videos off their Danger Days album. And long before MCR went there, Soundgarden painted a dark vision of surburbia in their classic clip for "Black Hole Sun."
Hip-hop has embraced these themes, as well. Just yesterday, the Game shot his latest music video for "Red Nation" in an end-of-the-world setting. Back in 1995, Tupac and Dr. Dre paid homage to "Mad Max" in the video for "California Love."
But we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the happiest apocalypse song of them all, R.E.M.'s 1987 hit "It's the End of the World as We Know It." In the video a young skater kid and his dog riffle through 20th-century artifacts in a bombed-out farm house, far, far away from the city where Britney and her sexy dancers celebrate their last hours.

This cannot be done by having a protagonist who is “docile, shy, non-aggressive, self-effacing”, as Star Plus does with its new show Navya - Nayi Dhadkan, Naye Sawaal, starring newcomer, Soumya Seth. After all, which modern boy or girl is going to identify with a girl who cannot stay over at her friends’ place, get home after 7 pm, and wear jeans?

90 year olds of America, I have some bad news—it appears that Katie Couricwill be leaving the CBS Evening News this summer, after her contract with CBS ends on June 4^th.  The 54 year old anchorwoman replaced Dan Rather at the CBS anchor desk in 2006.
According to US Weekly, “the former Today cohost is expected to launch her own syndicated talk show in 2012.”  Couric was the first woman to anchor a network nightly newscast solo, and rumors have been swirling that she plans to bail on the anchor post by this summer.
“While a departure date has not yet been set for the highest-paid network TV anchor — who rakes in a reported $15 million annually — the AP reports an announcement could be imminent.”
In the meantime, CBS is refusing to comment on the situation:
“We’re having ongoing discussions with Katie Couric… We have no announcements to make at this time. Until we do, we will continue to decline comment on rumor or speculation.”
To which Couric’s spokesman, Matthew Hiltzik, helpfully added: “Ditto.”
Couric was recently a guest on The Late Show With David Letterman, where she obliquely hinted that she may not be returning:
“’Once you take that anchor chair, that’s what you do,’ Letterman told Couric.
“’Really?’ she answered.”
So there you go, elderly news viewers of America.  This summer is going to be a rough one.
